Instructions
  1. In a small pot of water, simmer the spices (not the tea) for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Turn off heat and add tea. Allow to steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain spices and tea leaves. Mix sugar into the chai until it dissolves. Add to a 2 liter pitcher then fill the pitcher to the top with water. Refrigerate to store.
  4. To prepare, fill a mug halfway with chai and half with milk or milk alternative. Heat or pour over ice and enjoy! For a chai shake, blend chai, milk, ½ a banana and a few ice cubes!
