Confession: sometimes around this time of year I run out of veggie-based snack ideas. Raw carrots are usually our daily staple, but there is a lull in carrot season at the end of winter/early spring. So, smoothies to the rescue! I feel so good when I drink this smoothie—vibrant and energized. My kids love it too! The best part—only three ingredients. Get ready to refresh!

- 2 cups spinach
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- water

- Place first three ingredients in a blender. Add water to desired consistency. Blend and serve. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes
If you like a sweeter smoothie, substitute half a ripe banana for the avocado. Or substitute coconut water for the water.
